Our next event will be held on Oct 29th, SUN at 10:00-12:00pm!
We started to organize this event DOGS and CATS hoping to spread the words on behalf of rescued/abandoned dogs and cats and educate visitors to slowly make a change in the community. However, after COVID, we had to cancel all the events for 2-3 years.
We finally resumed in 2023, but the main part of the event is the cat adoption event now to give rescued cats the second chance to find new homes and also people who are willing to welcome furry friends!
We chose the temple called Ichinenji near Nishi Honganji which is the world heritage near from Kyoto Station. Each event is designed to be different so that all the visitors can learn something new every time they come. There is no admission fee, and all the kids and smaller animals are welcomed to join us! As you see on the photos of our events in the past below, everyone is welcome to read over 80 books/child books in the main hall of the temple, see the photo exhibition of the rescued/stray dogs and cats of 6 countries, and more!
